A Glance at the Specialized Library of the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Education Center of Bushehr Province

The library of the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Education Center of Bushehr Province operates as a specialized library in the field of agriculture and natural resources. This library provides fast digital access to a wide range of scientific texts, printed texts and images through the provision of technology-based services. In addition to providing specialized services accessible on the Internet, this library also provides traditional services to applicants. Some of these services include: training applicants to identify, locate and access the information they need. This library also has a special place in increasing the level of free access to agricultural information and identifying new technologies in order to use the services of other agricultural institutions and libraries.

This library has one of the largest and most accessible collections and information bases in the field of agriculture and natural resources at the provincial level and currently with more than 13,000 copies of books, reports and dissertations, as well as visual and auditory resources, is one of the rich libraries in the field of agriculture and natural resources in Bushehr province and is able to provide resources related to agriculture and natural resources and related sciences for researchers, researchers, students and beneficiaries. This library also provides access to the collection by creating a suitable study space.

The specialized library of agriculture and natural resources of Bushehr province consists of the following sections:

The following tasks can be enumerated for this specialized library:

1- Providing, maintaining and managing materials and information resources of agriculture, natural resources and related sciences;

2- Organizing and providing agricultural information services;

3- Planning, coordinating and evaluating information needs related to the field of education and research in agriculture and natural resources;

4- Developing specialized information services by creating coordination with agricultural associations and books for information dissemination

Currently, this library has been placed in a space of more than 200 square meters to provide its services to various agricultural and natural resource communities.
